Jack Rowe
CUMMING — Jack Rowe, 72, of Cumming, surrounded by the love of his family and friends, was called home by our Lord on July 14, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Interment service will follow at McMillian Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Rowe was born on July 9, 1934, in Alapaha, to the late Buena Vista Purvis and Julian Rowe.
He graduated from Abraham Baldwin College followed by his memorable journeys as a U.S. Marine. He served his country as a captain and a fighter pilot. He continued his life in the Reserves and finished his education at the University of Georgia with a B.S. in landscape architecture.
He went on to many successful years at Heery and Heery Firm before starting his private practice, Jack Rowe Landscape Architecture, and moved to Cumming where he loved his view of Lake Lanier and sitting on his front porch. He will always be remembered for his love of his Georgia Bulldogs and his honesty.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Kimberly Aldridge of Blairsville, Shari Tyree of Carrollton, Susan Evans of Boca Raton, Fla., Jennifer Hall of Newnan, and Erin Eggerton of Duluth; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Lillian Jeanette Powell McClellan
TIFTON — Lillian Jeanette Powell McClellan, 64, of Tifton, died Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at New Covenant Church. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Hobbs, the Rev. Shirley Strawter and the Rev. Rich Newton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mike Beggs, Tommy DeVane, Marty Freeman, Caleb Smith, Robbie Wheeler and Ronnie Wheeler will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. McClellan was born on Dec. 12, 1941, in Langdale, Ala. She was the daughter of Helen O’Neal Powell of Tifton and the late Thomas P. Powell. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. William A. McClellan III; a daughter, Katherine L. “Kitty” Howell; and a sister, Linda M. Holmes.
She was a minister’s wife and homemaker and a member of New Covenant Church. She was active in the South Georgia and Coastal Emmaus communities. She was a gifted, Spirit-led Bible teacher and intercessory prayer partner. Jeanette was a lover of gardens, singing, grandchildren and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Survivors include three sons, John G. McClellan of Warner Robins, William “Billy” A. McClellan IV of Wyoming and Matthew T. McClellan of Tifton; a daughter, Mary Helen McClellan of Tifton; a brother, Thomas M. Powell of Pensacola, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

Frank C. Sattler
TIFTON — Frank Charles Sattler, 83, of Tifton, died Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Lillard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Hubert Wood, Marvin Wood, Stan Wallace, Larry Newton, Dean Hilliard and Tommy Sumner will serve as pallbearers. Dr. Robert Coleman will serve as honorary pallbearer.
Mr. Sattler was born on Oct. 20, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was the son of Daniel Sattler and Margaret McLaughlin Sattler, both deceased.
He was a retired district manager for Stitham Tire Company, a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel and a veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific with the U.S. Marine Corps.
He had recently moved to Cypress Pond.
Mr. Sattler is survived by his wife, Louise Noto Sattler of Tifton; two sons, Thomas Sattler of Tifton and Terry Sattler of Knoxville, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.
