“The rave in this morning’s paper about Dr. Madden and his nurse really is true. It’s exactly the way they are. The only thing is the nurse’s name is Mendy. If things don’t change I’m afraid to show up out there again. Thank you.”



Religious rich?

“If the Republicans only represent the rich, then from what I have observed over my 67 years, rich people must have higher morals, more Christian, than poor people. Do you really believe that? I know more moderate and low income families that are strong Republicans than Democrats.”



Drive through

“…Traffic flow (at G.O. Bailey) is not the best… but the school officials and teachers do the best they can. However, traffic flow is also not the best at Annie Bell Clark either, but you don’t see parents at Annie Bell drop their kids off at the road. This is the problem, parents don’t or won’t take the time to drive through and drop their kids off. They are in a hurry and drop them off in the street or on the side of the road, and then don’t wait to see if they get across safely. That is the issue here! If you want to drop them off at the street or road, that is fine, but pull over, take an extra five to 10 minutes, and walk them across the street or road.”



Equaled out

“If Donnie Hester wants water rates equalized, let’s be fair and let everything be equalized. Pay city taxes! You wanted city water, and now you have it, so pay the rate… or else dig your own well.”



Clean up

“Sign ordinance? How about a clean city ordinance? Bring back southern pride. Show Tifton as the cleanest city in America. My challenge to all in Tift County is to spruce up your homes and yards and make them the showplaces all would be envious of, not mini-junk yards in some cases!”



Vote ‘no’

“Vote ‘No’ on SPLOST and send a message to these commissioners that you are tired of seeing funds wasted on pools, buildings and then seeing roads and public safety suffer. NO!”



Good work

“I too would like to send a RAVE out to Jeannie at the Sumner Agency. She is honest, helpful, and always friendly. We had two claims within days of each other and she worked fast to get our payments out and we have made all repairs. Thank you again, Jeannie. Keep up the the good work.”
