She is nice and so friendly and she can make a dreary hospital visit turn into a bright and wonderful day. This is to say thank you for her attitude and her caring personality for every patient that I have seen come through there. I have seen her do a lot of people and she is that way with everybody.”

“I applaud anyone who is willing to step up and run for public office! But tell me please, what does being a Republican or a Democrat have to do with local city and county commission or board of education races?”



Smoky scene

“Who is responsible for enforcing the no-smoking ban in Tift County? Who should complaints go to? I went to a convenience store last night to pay for gas and came out smelling as if I had been in a bar for hours. Ughhh!”

“It appears that Tift County is going to continue to neglect two of its most traveled roadways – Carpenter Road and Rainwater Road – as they degrade to just a continuous series of potholes and worse. Something has to be done, soon! Patches don’t last.”

Be patient

“In response to handicap parking, I am handicapped with my back and legs. I have some days that are great but others I can barely walk. I do not use the space if it is a good day, but on the bad ones I do and I can walk. So just because someone is walking into a store does not mean they do not have a handicap. Pain is very much a part of some people’s everyday life. Be patient with people and don’t judge the package by what you see. You do not know the whole story!
