“There is no way someone with a criminal history or mental illness can pass a stringent screening of the state prison system or thoroughness of a FBI background check for a gun license.”
Shining example
“My hat’s off to those who used the Weston Park. You are a shining example of how that park can be used properly.”
Keep trash off road
“The site is greatly improved now that the trash site has been moved off Springhill Road. Trash should kept off the road.”
Can’t do anything
“Kids should be allowed to wear whatever they want within reason. Kids can’t do anything right. All you hear about are the negative things.”
Boycott foreign goods
“Americans, if Nike, Levi or whoever goes overseas to make their products for $15 or less, send them back to the U.S. and sell them for $100 or better, then Americans have a problem. It’s simple. Boycott these companies products, and I’ll bet they’ll stop taking our jobs overseas. Let Mexico buy their products.”
Ban those imports
“I have an answer for all American companies planning to move or have moved to any foreign country. Once they move, their products cannot be imported to this country. Any foreign company that ships to the U.S. should have an import tax that equals the cost of the same item manufactured in the U.S. Our politicians have put us in this predicament.”
Mosquito problem
“What are our local health officials going to do about the mosquito problem? Let’s hear some real solutions.”
