Lou S. Fox

Graveside services for Lou S. Fox, 86, Thomasville, are at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Texas Street. David Ulmer will officiate. Mrs. Fox died Friday, Nov. 25 at Plantation Manor. Born Dec. 5, 1918 in Thomas County, she was a daughter of the late Doc Eason Smith and Ellie Floyd Smith. She was married to Henry Fox on June 10, 1977 in Thomas County. He preceded her in death in May of 1989. She was of the Baptist faith and a former bookkeeper for Town and Country Clothing in Thomasville and The Style Shop in Cairo. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bill Morris of Thomasville; granddaughter and husband, Maurene and David Inman of Thomasville; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Hunter Inman of Thomasville; sisters, Rebecca Parker and Clara Walker both of Thomasville. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jimmy Morris in 1989. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 808 Gordon Ave., Thomasville, Ga. 31792. — Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home
