Harry H. Glenn, 59, Boston, Ga., died Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Local survivors are wife Etta Jean Glenn, Boston, Ga; sons Steven Glenn, Boston, Ga. and Larry Williams, Thomasville, Ga; brothers George Glenn Jr. and Edward Glenn, both of Thomasville, Ga; and sister Mary Scott, Boston, Ga. Services for Dorothy E. “DeDe” Hood, 26, Pavo, Ga., are at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2001 at Autreyville Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Hendricks officiating. Internment is at Emerald Hill. Pallbearers are Larry Hood, Jason Hood, Junior Hood, Jonathan Hood, Gary Tucker and Don Turner Jr. Miss Hood died Sunday, July 1, 2001 in Thomasville, Ga. Born Sept. 28, 1974 in Vacencia, Italy, she was the daughter of Clarice and William H. Hood of Pavo, Ga., who both survive.

Miss Hood worked at the Caterpillar plant in Thomasville for five years.

Survivors include parents Clarice and William H. Hood, Pavo, Ga; grandparents Lawrence A. Hood, Pavo, Ga. and the late Dorothy E. Hood; Nellie I. Lasseter, Moultrie, Ga. and the late James E. Lasseter; and Thelma Stephens, Thomasville, Ga; nieces Alexis, Cheyenne and Tara Reynolds and Brady Jarvis, all of Moultrie, Ga; brother Rocky and wife Anna Hood, Pavo, Ga; sisters Stephanie V. Reynolds and husband Dale and Matasha Jarvis and husband Tony, all of Moultrie, Ga.; and Roxanne Hood, Pavo, Ga.

Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.–Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home, Moultrie, Ga.



Services for Talmadge Eugene Morris, 67, Thomasville, Ga. are at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2001 at Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home with the Rev. Sherman Hall officiating. Internment is at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Borden, David Highsmith, Monroe Huffmaster, Robert Huffmaster, Darrell Collins and Mike Barwick. Mr. Morris died Tuesday, July 3, 2001 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born May 16, 1934 in Tift County, he was the son of the late Glen Morris and the late Sue Smith Morris.

Mr. Morris married Gail Reynolds Morris on May 16, 1958 in Thomasville. He installed cabinets at Liberty Mobile Homes before retiring.

Survivors include wife Gail Morris; daughter and son-in-law Wanda and David Highsmith; daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Dale Cox; granddaughters Missy Highsmith, April Highsmith and Kristina Highsmith; great-grandson Bailey Highsmith; sisters Genette Brown, Elizabeth Graham and Louise Brown; and brother Wayne Morris.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by sister Josephine Collins and brother Lewis Morris.

Services for Izella Stacey, 90, Thomasville, Ga., are at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2001 at First Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Lovejoy officiating.. Internment is at Union Hill Church Cemetery. Mrs. Stacey died Monday, July 2, 2001 at Archbold Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 26, 1910, she was the daughter of Mike Lovejoy Sr. and Anna Mae Williams Lovejoy, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Stacey.

Mrs. Stacey was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and had attended Meriwether Public Schools in Meriwether, Ga.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Betty and Charlie Estes, Elyria, OH; daughters Donna and Patricia Stacey, both of Thomasville; son and daughter-in-law Arthur and Brenda Stacey, Thomasville; son and daughter-in-law John and Carolyn Stacey, Atlanta; son and daughter-in-law Joe and Francina Stacey, Atlanta; children that she raised as her own, Debra Lovejoy and Wanda Lovejoy, both of Elyria, OH; and Bobby Lovejoy and De’Andre Stacey, both of Thomasville; sister Millie Tignee, LaGrange, Ga; sister and brother-in-law Jennie and Clarence Mills, Thomasville; brother David Lovejoy, Thomasville; brother and sister-in-law Robert and Mildred Lovejoy Sr., Ochlocknee, Ga; 38 grandchi

Services for Willie Dean Glenn, 64, Thomasville, Ga., are at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2001 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Coolidge with the Rev. Alex German officiating. Internment will be at Aucilla Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Freddie Johnson, John Hill, Larry Ivey and Johnny Spears. Mrs. Glenn died Friday, June 29 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Born June 25, 1937 in Thomas County, Ga., she was the daughter of Dupree and Flossie West, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Glenn was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was married to Willie T. Glenn of Thomasville, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Cleveland Dubose, Thomasville; Anthony Anderson, Seattle, Wash; and Terry Glenn, Coolidge, Ga; daughters Denise Dubose, Albany, Ga; and Patricia Glenn, Thomasville; sisters Geraldine Peoples and Vinetta Jones, both of Coolidge; and Louise McDaniels, Orlando, Fla; brothers Roscoe Mack, Orlando, Fla; and Johnny Mack, New Jersey; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
