THOMASVILLE — All world-class equestrian Lane Walthall wanted was her two front teeth after an accident resulted in fractured teeth.

Now she’s featured on the cover of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Journal. The cover was unveiled Tuesday evening during an event at Pebble Hill Plantation.

The September accident left the Thomasville teen facing dental restoration.

Her unique smile was recreated by cosmetic dentist Dr. Thomas Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Center for Aesthetic Dentistry in Thomasville.
