A fine teen

“Thank you to Blake Chastain for your honesty for returning the billfold you found in the Publix parking lot with all its contents of money and credit cards. We are so proud. You are a fine teen. I know the owner was relieved.”

Be courteous

“Employers need to remember how to be courteous to people. Some people are rude to those looking for work.”

Rude to customers

“Where (have) good customer skills gone? People can be so rude to customers in the stores.”

People or sidewalks?

“Shame on the city and county officials. They can’t find enough money to spray for mosquitoes. Are they waiting on someone to die from the West Nile virus? They waste money on new sidewalks. Which is more important, people or sidewalks?”

All talk, no walk

“The county commissioners and the manager just passed the new employee regulations that they say they are going to enforce. What makes this one different from the last one? All talk and no walk.”

Off to Mexico

“NAFTA is working for Mexico. It won’t be long before we start heading off to work in Mexico to support our families and the U.S.”

OPEC shenanigans

“Who is ripping us off with the high energy costs? Now that the gas is starting to get cheaper, OPEC is discussing lowering production to get prices up.”

Give ’em a vote

“To the board of directors of the YMCA: Give the members a vote before you close the Milton YMCA.”

Unbearable smell

“What’s wrong with the sewage plant on County Line Road? The smell is unbearable.”

Deserves a break

“Everyone deserves a second chance.”

Lazy workers

“American production is way down. Americans have become lazy and complacent about their jobs. No wonder companies look for alternatives such as Mexico.”

Doesn’t county count?

“Is the county not going to spray or put out tablets to fight mosquitoes? Do the county citizens not count? We have mosquitoes, too.”
