The Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce has announced the names of 2013 citizen award recipients.
Awards will be presented at the 2013 Annual Chamber Meeting on Monday, March 18, at Glen Arven Country Club.
A reception in honor of award recipients is at 5 p.m. A seated dinner is at 6 p.m., followed by the awards program.
The community event is open to the public.
Awards recognize individuals who have volunteered and developed programs to enrich the community and often brought national notoriety to Thomasville and Thomas County.
This year, the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to John D. Bulloch Jr., former longtime state senator and representative, for years of exemplary leadership and service to Thomas County in the Georgia House of Representatives and Senate.
