THOMASVILLE —
A victim in a home invasion early Saturday morning is in stable condition at Archbold Memorial Hospital.
A second person was injured, but did not require hospitalization.
About 3 a.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to Guardian Inn, 628 E. Clay St., Apartment 208, in reference to a robbery.
Victims told police three people entered the residence and robbed them at gunpoint.
Names of victims are not being released, and there were no suspect descriptions.
Police said Saturday no other details were available, pending further investigation.
Police are being assisted by the Thomasville regional office of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Steven Turner, special agent in charge of the GBI office, said the hospitalized victim was beaten.
Cash was taken from the victims, said Lt. Eric Hampton, Thomasville Police Department public information officer.
