During Georgia Speaker David Ralston's visit to Thomasville on Thursday, he visited Archbold Memorial Hospital, accompanied by a legislative delegation that included Rep. Darlene Taylor (R-Thomasville), Rep. Amy Carter (R-Valdosta) and Rep. Ed Rynders (R-Leesburg), vice chairman of the House Health & Human Services Committee, and Jody Redding, representing U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA).
The group sat down for a discussion of health care issues with members of Archbold's senior management team and toured the hospital's new Emergency department and Trauma Center, Intensive Care Unit and other patient care areas in the North Tower.
