THOMASVILLE —
Coolidge’s Mike Keown has company in the race for the Georgia Senate seat vacated by John Bulloch.
Dr. Dean Burke of Bainbridge announced his candidacy for the District 11 post on Monday and Blakely’s Brad Hughes tossed his hat into the ring late Saturday. Keown made his intentions known shortly after Bulloch announced his retirement last week.
District 11 includes Colquitt, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole and Thomas counties.
