THOMASVILLE —
Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson thinks a lot of voters are Libertarians and don’t know it. That’s why the Libertarian Party’s presidential nominees suggests hat they answer a series of questions at isidewith.com.
“Check it out. It doesn’t take very long at all,” Johnson said during a recent telephone interview with the Times-Enterprise. “More than two million people have gotten online. It’s really going viral.”
After answering isidewith.com’s 36 questions and gauging their importance, voters will learn if their views are more in tune with Democrat President Barack Obama, Republican Mitt Romney or Johnson.
“I am the next president of the United States based on the isidewith.com quiz,” Johnson joked.
Johnson, however, believes that America’s string of budget deficits and $16 trillion debt is no laughing matter and that everyone should be able to agree on that point.
“We all know that our spending is not sustainable,” he said. “Well, I am offering up a choice that will actually address this.”
Georgians who have taken the isidewith.com poll agree with Johnson 52 percent of the time. Obama and Romney trail him at 48 and 46 percent, respectively.
