THOMASVILLE —
A burglar took time out for lunch during a recent residential burglary.
“He warmed up some collard greens,” said Lt. Eric Hampton, Thomasville Police Department (TPD) public information officer.
While police battle thieves stealing from vehicles, they also are investigating a number of residential burglaries.
“We’ve had residential burglaries throughout the city within the last 30 days,” Hampton explained. “A lot of them happened in the daytime.”
People are returning home at lunch or after work and finding their homes burglarized.
Citizens are asked to be alert and aware of suspicious people in their neighborhoods.
