THOMASVILLE —
A man with wet arms and hands who greeted narcotics agents at his house is charged with trafficking in cocaine.
An undercover agent had purchased cocaine from the suspect, Charlie D. Coleman, and a warrant had been issued for his arrest.
Meanwhile, a source contacted the Thomas County-Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division and said Coleman had a large amount of crack and powder cocaine at his 809 N. Oak St. residence.
“He’s been arrested for drugs in the past. We are very familiar with him,” said Kevin Lee, narcotics/vice commander.
An agent traveling in an undercover vehicle knocked on the door at the house and received no answer. The officer recognized Coleman’s voice when the suspect asked who was at the door.
