THOMASVILLE —
From a former NFL player to college students, 65 individuals have applied for the job of Thomasville High School (THS) head football coach.
The field has been reduced to nine. Interviews begin today and continue Saturday and Sunday at an undisclosed location.
Candidates will be interviewed by a panel made up of city schools Superintendent Sabrina Boykins-Everett, the THS principal, school system personnel director and two former THS football players.
Richie Marsh, former THS coach, resigned after the 2012 season to take a coaching job at a Florida college.
