THOMASVILLE —
Hydroponically grown marijuana was not cultivated at the Thomasville apartment where it was found, but apartment occupants will not reveal the source.
The occupants, David Carey Lovette, 30, and Brittany Carrie Nicole Cowart, 26, 2025 E. Pine Tree Blvd., are charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute.
Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division officers received a tip that hydroponically grown marijuana — a more expensive variety — was being sold at the couple’s apartment.
A search warrant was executed, and the agency’s drug dog alerted on the bed area and a dresser drawer.
