THOMASVILLE —
Thomasville’s annual Rose Show and Festival takes place each April. However, numerous preparations are made throughout the preceding year.
One of the newest additions to the festivities is the Rose Queen Pageant. The annual Thomasville Rose Queen Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 2.
As an event of the Rose Show and Festival, sponsored by CNS Television, the Rose Queen Pageant provides an opportunity for participants to serve as role models for their community, gain self-confidence and develop a greater awareness about our historic and celebrated community. With the title of Rose Queen, comes honor and distinction. Not only does Thomasville’s Rose Queen preside over all official Rose Festival activities, she serves as an ambassador for Thomasville while participating in various civic, social and charity events during her reign.
See Friday's edition for more details.
