THOMASVILLE —
Services for the 21st Annual Thomasville/Thomas County National Day of Prayer Observance will be held at several locations.
The public service will be held Thursday from noon- 1 p.m. at Trinity Anglican Church Sanctuary, 325 West Jackson St. in downtown Thomasville. The public is invited.
The service will be sponsored by Community Transformation Inc., a nonprofit corporation whose board consists primarily of local pastors and business leaders whose mission is "To promote prayer and partnering to make disciples of Jesus Christ and change the spiritual climate of our community.”
This year’s theme is “One Nation Under God” and its key Bible verse is “Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12.)
In addition to renewing the Greater Thomasville Prayer Covenant and joining in the national prayer for this year, participants will be given the opportunity to voice sentence prayers on seven topics and sing prayer songs such as “God Bless America.”
See Sunday's edition for more details.
