THOMASVILLE —
Canines leaning toward the spooky and scary should be at the Thomasville Dog Park between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.
Activities include:
• Pooch portraits
• A Thomasville Police Department canine unit demonstration
• Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society pet adoptions
• Thomasville fire clowns
• Live DJ
• Snow cones
Canine contests begin at noon. Competition categories are:
• Best costume
• Best “Doggie and Me” costume
• “Bootiful” pet parade
• Fastest wagging tail
• Best sloppy kiss
• Super silly pet tricks
Dogs attending the event must be more than six months old and have all annual vaccinations.
The dog park is on South Pine Tree Boulevard across from Southwestern State Hospital.
