Root 3:16 is planning its second annual community cancer concert for cancer victim Jailah Armstrong from 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Feb. 1 at First United Methodist Fellowship Hall.
Only 450 tickets will be sold. For $10, it includes a full meal, silent auction and music. All funds raised go toward the medical expenses of Armstrong.
Tickets are available at Rayann’s Christian Book Store and Bobby Dollar Appliance. The silent auction preview begins at 6:15.
Among the other performers slated to participate are Shawn Walden, Marlesa Ball Greiner, Jamie Nunnally and Caroline Upton.
Armstrong is a student at Thomas County Central High School and is receiving chemotherapy at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
