THOMASVILLE —
The ex-husband of a Thomasville woman found dead Thursday afternoon has been arrested in Cordele.
William Henry Knight, 56, 517 Remington Ave., is in custody in Cordele in connection with the stabbing death.
The woman was found dead about 1 p.m. at her business in the 300 block of East Jackson Street after a relative called 911 and said a stabbing was in progress.
Thomasville police, Thomas County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation continue to process the crime scene.
Police have not identified the victim.
