Central wrestles in Chiles meet

THOMASVILLE — Thomas County Central wrestled on Saturday at the Chiles Timberwolf Duals in Tallahassee, Fla.

Central defeated Rickards (Fla.) 84-0 and Marianna (Fla.) 54-27. Central lost to Flagler Palm Coast (Fla.) 63-17, Bainbridge 41-39 and Chiles 54-30.

Central’s winners against Rickards were William Wilhelm by forfeit (106-pound weight class), Noah Hobbs by forfeit (113), Jordan Hurst by forfeit (120), David Kindred by forfeit (126), Josh Brue by forfeit (132), Jeremy Belle by pin (138), Hudson Prevatt by pin (145), Hunter McElreath by pin (152), Colin Sharpe by forfeit (160), Eli Webb by pin (170), Alexander Everett by pin (182), Noah Harnevious by forfeit (195), Neil Williams by forfeit (220) and Stevan Thornton by pin (285).

Against Marianna, Central’s winners were Wilhelm by pinfall, Hobbs by pin, Douglas Howard by pin (126), Belle by pin, McElreath by forfeit, Sharpe by forfeit, Harnevious by forfeit and Williams by pin.

The Yellow Jackets’ only winners against Flagler Palm Coast were Sharpe by technical fall, Williams by forfeit and Thornton by forfeit.

Against Bainbridge, Central’s winners included Wilhelm by forfeit, Hurst by pin, Ryan Norrs by forfeit (132), Belle by pin, Sharpe by a decision (14-11), Webb by pin and Williams by pin.

Central’s winners against Chiles were Hobbs by forfeit, Ryan Norris by forfeit (132), McElreath by forfeit, Everett by pin and Thornton by pin.
