Night Hawks lose conference game
The Thomas University Night Hawks (8-3) fell to Webber International University (5-5) 2-0 in a Sun Conference baseball matchup on Friday afternoon at Varnedoe Stadium.
The series concludes with a noon doubleheader.
Brookwood teams fall in tourney
The Brookwood Lady Warriors dropped a 38-32 decision to Tiftarea Friday in the GISA 3-AAA basketball tournament at Darton State College in Albany.
Peyton Patterson and Madeleine Harrer tallied 14, and 12 points respectively for Brookwood, which will play at 2 p.m. at Darton.
Also at Darton on Friday, Brookwood’s boys lost 49-47 to Calvary despite receiving 23 points from Jake Piazza. Carter Reed and Chase Flowers chipped in 11 and four points, respectively.
The Warriors will play at Darton at 3:30 p.m. today.
