THOMASVILLE —
Thomas University was bounced from the Association of Independent Institutions tournament Thursday night by the University of Houston-Victoria at Varnedoe Stadium.
After knocking off Talladega College 4-3 earlier in the day to stay alive in the double-elimination tournament, Thomas University lost in the last game of the day 6-2.
TU’s season ends with a 19-29 record. Houston-Victoria will play California State-San Marcos today at 1 p.m. in the championship round. If Houston-Victoria wins, the two teams will play again.
