THOMASVILLE —
So much for playoff jitters.
For many of the Brookwood Warriors baseball team, Friday was its first postseason game in GISA. The Warriors made the most of it.
Brookwood scored seven runs in the fourth inning and the Warriors crushed Robert Toombs 13-0 in five innings in the first round of the Class AA playoffs.
Game two is today at noon.
Jordan Bradshaw tallied the win for Brookwood. In five innings, Bradshaw allowed five hit, one walk and recorded nine strikeouts.
Bradshaw was the beneficiary of an explosive offensive attack that collected 11 hits.
