THOMASVILLE —
An annual Thomasville tradition is set to resume Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Capping spring practice, the Bulldogs will hold their spring game. It’s a time for players to showcase their skills to coaches. It’s an opportunity for Thomasville fans to see what next year’s squad will look like.
“Our spring game here, it’s always been a blast. I think the kids have just taken to the way we do it. We barbecue for them. It’s a big thing,” Thomasville coach Richie Marsh said. “I think it’s turned into something that’s kind of a tradition that they really enjoy.
“It’s a great way for (fans) to come out and preview what we’ve got. All of our guys that are going to be on the varsity next year, they’re out there.”
Thomasville has several starting positions open, most notably at quarterback and in the secondary.
