VALDOSTA —
Brookwood split with GISA Region 3-AA foe Valwood on the hardwood Thursday night.
The Lady Warriors prevailed 41-37, while the boys team lost 55-39.
Peyton Patterson paced the Brookwood girls with 12 points. Teammate Madeleine Harrer added 10 points, and Vallie Smith chipped in six points for Brookwood. In the boys game, Jake Piazza led the Warriors with 13 points. Rand Malone scored 11 for Brookwood, and Brad Kinni and John Stauffer scored four points each.
Brookwood will return to the court tonight with a home game against Southland Academy.
