BLAKELY —
The Thomasville Bulldogs advanced to the Class AA playoffs after defeating Early County 12-5 Friday night.
Hunter Donalson notched the win for Thomasville, striking out nine in seven innings.
Jonathan Cooley paced the Bulldogs with five hits.
Brian Miller also went 3-for-4 for the Bulldogs.
Thomasville closed out its regular season on Saturday with a 5-4 home loss to Class AAA Worth County.
The Bulldogs’ record is 14-11 and 7-5 in Region 1 play.
Thomasville will open the state playoffs next weekend against the No. 1 seed from Region 2.
