Brookwood splits pair of games
The Brookwood Lady Warriors lost 31-29 to the Calvary Christian Lady Knights Friday night.
Leading Brookwood scorers were Madeline Harrer- and Peyton Patterson with eight points apiece. Eleanor Stubley added seven points.
The Warriors lost to the Knights 51-43.
Leading Brookwood scoers were Carter Reed with 12, Jake Piazza with nine and Brad Kinni with seven.
The Lady Warriors and Warriors are headed to their region tournament at Darton College in Albany. The Lady Warriors play Friday at 4 p.m. The Warriors will follow at 5:30 p.m.
Cairo girls beat Worth County
Cairo’s girls varsity tennis team beat Worth County on Tuesday.
Lauren Cassels, Taylor Duncan, Kindall York and Tybria Williams (doubles) were Cairo winners.
Worth County won the boys match.
