THOMASVILLE —
The Thomasville Bulldogs opened the Holiday Hoopfest Thursday night with a 66-53 win over Twiggs County.
Playing in the final game of the night, Thomasville sprinted to a 36-22 halftime lead and never looked back.
The Bulldogs (4-4) drained seven 3-pointers and had 12 different players score.
Trevarius Wimberly led the Bulldogs with 13 points. Derek Dixon and Andrew Parker each added 10.
Thomasville will play in the semifinal round later today at 8:30 p.m. against Mitchell County.
