AMERICUS — Rose City Little League’s 12-and-under all-stars defeated Albany 10-9 on Wednesday night to clinch a berth in the Little League District 8 tournament.
Thomasville lost the opener of the best-of-three series 5-2 earlier in the week before rallying for a 13-6 win that set up Wednesday’s showdown.
The District 8 tournament will start on July 13 in Americus.
