Rant & Rave Feb. 6

“Thomasville drivers are notorious for not using their turn signals. However, things may be getting better. I was following behind an elderly woman who signaled for a right turn. The only problem was that she turned left.”

“Obama has made a lot of mistakes. His biggest was thinking he is God’s replacement.”

“I got my light bill today and it was more than $700. I’m sick and tired of paying high light bills in Cairo.”

“I am a teacher who is glad the board office is spreading out our furlough days so the money isn’t taken all at one time. On the other hand, I’m glad I have a job, house, car and food, but I need money to pay for it.”

“I enjoy reading the results from Team Lean in the paper. I encourage everyone to continue their weight-loss journey. Remember, it's not all about looking good. It's about feeling good! Keep up the awesome work!”

“You think President Obama has cut taxes and Bush raised them? I had to laugh out loud. Yes, you are still mesmerized by the ‘great one.’”

“If the Tea Party does what it says it wants to do, which is awaken the sleeping giant of apathetic voters in this nation, it will be the doom of the Democrats and Republicans. Be sure, neither party wants to see the tea party flourish, which is exactly why it needs to.”
