Rant & Rave Jan. 19

“Why not base all government employees' pay on performance rather than degrees held?"

“Our three Presidents can come together to help Haiti, but they can't get along to help Americans. That's interesting."

“Here are a few of the lies told by George Bush — he stated that his tax cuts would not result in a budget deficit; he lied about his arrest and conviction for DUI; and he stated that weapons of mass destruction had actually been found in Iraq.”

“Hey, Randy, I think I hear God telling you to hush.”

“It's fantastic that we finally got speed limit signs on Dillon Road. Now if we can just get a light at Dillon Road and 319 before someone gets hurt really bad — or worse.”

“Mark and Randy, keep telling the truth even if you are stepping on some ACORNs.”

“People are busy complaining about Randy Young instead of people like Rush Limbaugh, who is destroying this country from the inside by spreading poisonous opinions. Randy’s opinions are benign. Rush’s opinions are disastrous and un-American. I can’t believe he has so many followers who think like he does.”

“I want to remind everyone to attend the citizens meeting on Tuesday. We all should be interested in the next census, unfunded state mandates and the race for governor.”

“The people of Massachusetts, of all places, have a chance to restore order in America on Tuesday. Go, Scott Brown.”

“If the Democrat can’t win in Massachusetts on Tuesday, the future looks bleak for all of them this fall. I hope Sanford Bishop gets swept away in a GOP tidal wave of victories.”
