Rant & Rave Nov. 18

Bishop, Obama, Floyd and Mary Beth Brown

“A patriot? Voting against the wishes of those who elected you is not being a patriot. It’s called being stupid.”

“All this talk of stolen freedoms. Now you know what the previous eight years was like for Democrats. However, when Bush was running up the deficit, I heard nothing from Republicans.”

“Why is it that when we as Americans stand up for our freedoms the left side labels us as ‘extremists, rednecks and racists?’ I'm none of those. I am an American taxpayer who is sick and tired of my rights and freedoms being taken away from me by my employees in Washington!”

“Rep. Bishop's job is to represent the wishes of the people in his district, not to do what he thinks is best for the country. That's why the U.S. is a representative republic. He is playing party over country, and that makes him a pinhead, pinhead.”

“The American people said, ‘Enough is enough.’ That's why we, the American people, elected President Obama.”

“Please be generous during the holidays. We have a lot of families and children who need help.”

“We need to stop all those articles by Floyd and Mary Beth Brown. They are filled with nonsense. Weak-minded people might start believing their untruths.”

“I am so tired of hearing about being being robbed of their heritage and having their rights taken from them. All of that is nonsense. We are not being robbed of anything. If we were, it happened during the Bush administration when so many people died and rights were taken. President Obama is trying to fix the mess Bush left.”

“The Times-Enterprise may be a conservative newspaper, but at least it offers divergent opinions. You don’t see that on CNN, MSNBC or any other TV program.”
