“Thank you for carrying Walter Williams’ column. He's good and worth reading."



“What's the difference? People get a citation for throwing trash out on the highway. People cleaning up their yards blow their trash and lawn trimmings out in the street and highway and nothing can be done."



“President Obama said his stimulus package saved 935 jobs at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council. Their own Web site says they employ only 600. How can that be? This is another lie from President Obama."



“To Joann Burton: You have it all wrong in your letter to the editor. Fox News is the only network that keeps the White House in check. The White House has revealed itself as being a bunch of cry babies and whiners. None of the rest will do it."



“Shame on everyone who complained about the retirement celebration for the best health department employees that place has ever seen. And, especially, shame on Patti Dozier for making a mockery of and embarrassing one of the finest human beings that has ever lived.”

“The Times-Enterprise published so many articles about Andrew Wurst winning the Meigs mayoral race that I was beginning to think they had him confused with Obama.”
