Rant & Rave for July 31

THOMASVILLE — “Drug busts, 15 year olds getting shot, crack in shoes, kids wearing their pants around their knees. Houston, we have a problem.”

“I agree with rave Friday about if the Clintons want to spend a large amount of money on wedding that is OK. However, I don't agree with one par — they haven't worked hard, they have lived off taxpayers. Sweat on the brow of either one of them would send them in cardiac arrest.”

“We needn't complain about how much we earn. Almost without exception, we take home what we agreed to accept for position we hold. Our spending habits are in question.”

“I'm not a Clinton fan but at least they are trying to stimulate the economy.”

“I'm not so sure about Lloyd Eckberg, but I'd vote for Mark Lastinger and Randy Young today if they were to run for president and vice pres. But I don't know which should be which. Randy's probably better with a teleprompter, so maybe he ought to be president. Either way, they have my vote.”

“Since when did it become the Clinton's responsibility to provide for the people of America with thier own personal money? So what if they want to spend that money on their daughter's wedding? It's probably a drop in a bucket compared to what they spent just trying to get elected so that Hilary could help the people of America.”

“Obama this, Randy Young that, Mr. Keown who? Bishop why? Food stamps and new vehicles whine, tax this and that. Oil in the gulf. A 15 year-old was shot in Thomasville — for what? For crying out loud, people, wake up. This is our town where a 15 year-old was shot. This is not Atlanta or Detroit but Thomasville.”
