Rant & Rave March 11

“We already have a Socialist as President and now DeWitt Sheffield wants to put more ‘comrades’ in office. I can't believe this."

“State workers may have 12 paid holidays during the year, but now they are giving them back with 12 furlough days."

“Randy Young needs to explain state education spending. The budget mess of spending is about to bankrupt Georgia and he has the nerve to write about the health care fiasco. The state is cutting the fat and educators don't understand why. Being ranked 46th in failure, they should remain silent.”

“For years now, Moultrie has always been a nickel or cheaper on gas than Thomasville. The only thing I can figure is that some of the folks in Thomasville are planning an overseas vacation."

“I wonder if the leaders of the Times-Enterprise understand that it is their responsibility to provide unbiased news coverage? Unbiased news coverage means it is not front-page news every time the Freedom Line protests.”

“So let me get this straight. Our ‘know- all’ county commissioners are going to disapprove an event that's going to bring in potentially thousands of outside people, spending money and paying sales taxes? That makes perfect sense.”

“Hail to the sheriff for standing up for his beliefs on the bog. Shame on the board for not having any vision whatsoever. I hope he does it anyway. I’ll be there.”

“Nancy Pelosi said, ‘We have to pass the (health care) bill so that you can find out what's in it.’ What?”
