Rant & Rave July 5

“I honestly cannot believe the paper used that picture of Michael Jackson. It’s just wrong, wrong, wrong.”

“The Thomas County Board of Education members must thrive on controversy and be unable to see past their own noses if they can’t see that the changes that have been brought about were for the best.”

“I hope that Michael Vick is not allowed to play football in any league because what he did was very greedy and heartless.”

“What has happened to the newspaper? There are more errors — spelling, punctuation and other things — each day. Saturday’s paper had a list of the death notices from a week ago. Somebody needs to proofread your paper before it is printed.”

“I was baffled to see a police officer talking on her cell phone while pumping gas. And they’re supposed to be keeping us safe?”

“I grew up in Thomasville but now live out of state. I enjoy reading Rant and Rave online and often laugh out loud. Some things never change!”

“I am laughing at the rant about the pizza! Pizza as a bribe or gift to a government employee? It's an award, not a gift. I'm still laughing.”

“This is a rave to all of the emergency personnel who worked the wreck on Remington Avenue. The outcome could have been far worse had there not been professional and adequately trained EMS, fire and law enforcement personnel on scene. Good job, guys!”
