Rant & Rave July 28

— “I have just read the article about Goldman Sachs, American International Group, CIT Group, JP Morgan, Chase and all the automakers. The money went to the executives and now Mr. Feinberg has the nerve to say they don't have to repay. You wonder why we are now in such financial straits."

“How in the world can the Clintons justify spending $6 million on Chelsea's wedding when their are people in this country who have lost their jobs, homes, can't buy food, pay for heating or cooling, school supplies, clothing or anything else. This is ridiculous."

“Although the facts in the release remain correct, Sanford Bishop quickly addressed the need for them to have been put forth in the correct venue. Such action is further evidence of the honesty and ethics of the man. We can't afford to lose him as our representative in Washington."

“Attention Randy Young: Nobody in south Georgia really gives a rat's hind quarters about some stupid Mosque that the people of the Islamic faith wish to build in New York City.”

“Keown should hire Lee Larko. That was a well-written letter that stated circumstances factually. Take that, Bishop.”

“The survey question on your Web site is a malicious misuse of your position of public trust in a futile attempt to make the Democratic candidate and his campaign look bad. Many find the right-wing zealotry of your newspaper amusing, but others are disgusted by your lack of any sense of right and wrong, and fair play.”

“If you have never watched the Glenn Beck’s show, please give it a week of your time. You will learn a lot, and I believe you'll see that the liberal media lie about him.”
