Andrew Leon Wooten

— Andrew Leon Wooten, 50, departed this life and transitioned to glory on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013. Andrew was born on Aug. 19, 1962. He held a Bachelor’s of science degree in business administration and a Master’s in education. Andrew was the president of Safety Awareness Firearms Education (S.A.F.E.). He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Osie Theodore Wooten and Willie Lee Wilson Wooten. He leaves to cherish the joy of his memory: his loving and devoted wife of 14 years, Audrey Mitchell Wooten, M.D.; mother-in-law, Emorial Ray Mitchell, of Thomasville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at 5 p.m. at Northeast Florida Realtors Association, 7801 Deercreek Club Road, Jacksonville, Fla., 32256. Services will be held on March 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Institutional Church, 215 Bethel Baptist Street, Jacksonville, Fla., 32202, with Bishop Rudolph W. McKissick, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that friends make contributions to the Community Safety Foundation, Inc.- 4940 Emerson Street, Suite 112, Jacksonville, Fla., 32207.
