Vernice Geraldine Godwin Hagan

— Graveside services for Vernice Geraldine Godwin Hagan, 77 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 15, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Scott Brady, Kevin Morris, Clay Stanaland, Lavon Pearce, Frankie Pearce and David Presley. Mrs. Hagan passed away February 13 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Born November 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Roy Godwin and Laura Akridge Pearce. She was married to Wilburn Eugene Hagan for 55 years, who survives. She was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church. Other survivors include her daughters, Patsy Brady James, Verna Morris and husband Jerry, all of Thomasville and Derotha Presley and husband David of Moultrie; grandchildren, Scott Brady and wife Natalie, Gina Curry and husband Chris, Kevin Morris, Stacy Morris, John Presley and wife Lisa and Thomas Presley and wife Grace; great grandchildren, Leah Brady, Easton Brady, Ashlyn Morris, Tucker Allen, Kai Curry, Cannon Presley and Sawyer Presley; sisters and brothers, Vivian Stanaland and husband John, Vera Hagan, Frankie Pearce and wife Sherry and Lavon Pearce all of Thomasville and numerous nieces and nephews.
