THOMASVILLE —

Mrs. Bonnie Davis, 89, of Colquitt died Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Colquitt Alternative Care. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 20, 2013, at 3:00 PM at Colquitt United Methodist Church with Rev. Jay Roberson and Rev. James Aycock officiating. Interment will follow in the Colquitt City Cemetery with Joey Herndon, Mills Herndon, Brandt Herndon, David Lee, Tony Wooten, and Tyler Wooten serving as active pall bearers. Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2013, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Colquitt United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Davis was a member of Colquitt United Methodist Church and was a cosmetologist and owner of Bonnie's Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Colquitt Garden Club and the Woman's Missionary Society.  Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harry L. Davis of Colquitt, GA; one brother, Randall (Betty) Herndon of Macon, GA; and 15 nieces and nephews that she loved as her own children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jethro & Dora Herndon; one brother, Elmer Herndon; and one sister, Lenora Herndon.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Methodist Home for Children and Youth, PO Box 2525, Macon, GA 31203-2525. — Colquitt Funeral Home, Inc.
