THOMASVILLE — Services for Damita LaQuan Fleming, 27, of Thomasville, are at 3 p.m., July 31, 2010, at Richland Missionary Baptist Church, 4388 Five Forks Rd. Pastor Henry L. Mathis will officiate and interment is in Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Miss Fleming died July 27. Born Sept. 14, 1982, in Thomasville, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Jacqueline Fleming. She was a 2001 graduate of Thomasville High School, attended Valdosta State University and was a correctional officer. Survivors include father, Kenneth Fleming of Thomasville; mother, Jacqueline Fleming of Thomasville; son, Traveon Flounoy of Thomasville; daughter, Maya Williams of Thomasville; sister, Taleya Fleming Williams of Thomasville; brother, Kenneth Fleming Jr. of Norcross; fiance, Melvin Williams of Thomasville; niece, Aiyana Williams of Thomasville; nephew, Corey T. Williams Jr. of Thomasville; sister, LaShaun Hadley (Carl) of Atlanta; aunts, Sheila Williams (Albert), Betty Shepard (John), Anne Jackson, Phennie Stephens, Mary Freeman (Elliott) all of Thomasville; aunt, Cotrena Hill of Thomasville, Constance Dennis (Sam) of Anchorage, Alaska; uncles, Marvin Taylor Sr., Christopher Fleming (Sylvia), Terry Fleming (Patashia) all of Thomasville, Ike Taylor (Diane), Darrell Taylor (Dia) all of Atlanta; great-uncle, Ralph Williams (Lessie) of Boston; great-aunt, Ethel Williams of Atlanta, Carrie Williams of St. Petersburg, Fla., Willie Mae Hansell of Wakulla, Fla.; great-great-aunt, Harriet Smith of Thomasville; grandfather, Robert Taylor (Tessie) of Thomasville; close personal friends, Ronnia Fann, Theresa Thompson Willis, Sachel Andrews; and numerous cousins and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Bernice Hansell, Marie W.
