Freddie Crumby Sr.

THOMASVILLE — Services for Freddie Crumby Sr., 88, of Thomasville, are at 11 a.m., July 31, 2010, at House of Joy Church, 505 E. Walcott St. Pastor Verbertha Tillis will officiate and interment is in St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers are friends of the family. Mr. Crumby died July 24 at his residence. Born May 12, 1922, in Thomas County, he was a son of the late Robert and Rebecca Crumby. He was retired from Balfour Lumber Company. Survivors include a brother, Charlie Crumby of Thomasville; son, Freddie Crumby Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; daughter, Mayola Lampley of West Palm Beach, Fla.; son and daughter, Charles and Willistene Crumby of Tallahassee, Fla.; son and wife, Jessie and Laura Crumby of Riviera Beach, Fla.; sons, Heywood Crumby of West Palm Beach, Fla., Sandy Crumby of Thomasville; son and wife, William and Lita Crumby of Thomasville; daughter and husband, Lula Mae and Micheal Owens of Cairo; and stepson, Tommy Lee Baker of Thomasville. — Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
