Graveside Services for Bruce Leaphart, 46, of Jersey City, NJ will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Thomasville. Pastor Richard Leaphart of New Hope Christian Ministries in Stockbridge, GA will officiate with interment immediately following services. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Leaphart was born on April 15, 1966 to the late Lois Leaphart and Richard Mack. He was employed by A. Harry Moore Public School system. Mr. Leaphart departed this life on on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in Jersey City, NJ. Survivors to cherish his memory include daughter Asia Leaphart of Long Island, NY; sisters Waltina Leaphart and Schantrina Leaphart both of Jersey City, NJ; special niece Nasheca Roberts of Jersey City, NJ; sisters Jackie Leaphart Samuel (Alfred) of Thomasville and Yvette Johnson of Miami, FL; six brothers Xavier Leaphart (Christine), Joseph Leaphart (Mary Alice), Ferrondon Leaphart (Yvonne), Michael Leaphart and Pastor Richard Leaphart (Synetra) all of Atlanta, Steve Leaphart of Thomasville; and a host of loving, caring and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. — Hatcher-Peoples Funeral Home
