Services for Clinton Dwite Rogers, 63, of Albany, are at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home in the chapel in Pelham. The Rev. Larry Hibberts and the Rev. Phillip Sadler will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memory Gardens in Thomasville. Pallbearers are Clint Everett, James Brown, Dillon McRae, Dallas McRae, Scott Smith, Yancy Sadler and Shane Gossett. Mr. Rogers died Saturday, Dec. 5, at his residence. Born on May 30, 1946, he was a son of the late Hobert and Agnes Thomas Rogers. Mr. Rogers was the husband of Joan Brenda Gossett Rogers and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Mr. Rogers was a retired general contractor. Survivors include his wife, Joan Brenda Gossett Rogers of Albany; sons, Wayne Rogers of Bainbridge, Chris Rogers of Ochlocknee; daughters, Brenda Johnson and husband, Hardy of Thomasville, Angela Rogers of Lake Park, Ga.; his brothers, William Harvey Rogers of Albany, Gordon Leroy Rogers of Lexington, S.C.; Wayne Rogers of Calhoun, Ga.; a sister, Betty Smith of Pelham; grandchildren, Clint Everett, James Brown, Dallas "Bud" McRae, Dillon McRae, Christina Brown, Jenny Rogers, Ashlynn Rogers; and many nieces and nephews.
