Wyolene Pharis Fain

Services for Wyolene Pharis Fain, 81, of Cairo, Ga., are at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Gordon Heights Baptist Church, Cairo. The Rev. John Paul Hasick will officiate and interment is in Cairo Cemetery, Cairo. Pallbearers are her nephews. Mrs. Fain died on Thursday, Nov. 5. She was born on Sept. 14, 1928, to the late Thomas Jordan and Mary Alma Rozar Pharis. She married Fonzo T. Fain who preceded her in death. She was retired from W. B. Roddenbery Company and was a charter member of Gordon Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Vicky Pharis of Cairo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucile and Paul Day, Vonda and Gerald VanBrunt all of Cairo; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., today at the church. Memorials may be made to Gordon Heights Baptist Church, 1351 5th St. S.
