Viriginia Louise Gregg

Services for Virginia Louise Gregg, 94, of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Ms. Gregg died Oct. 26, at Archbold Hospital. Born Nov. 4, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Walter Shores and Gussie Estelle Shores. Ms. Gregg worked in the nursery at First Baptist Church for 34 years and was a homemaker. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Frederick E. Gregg and Sandra Gregg of Thomasville; grandchildren, Patrick Phelps, Marc Phelps, David Gregg; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter, Pamela Elaine Griffin; granddaughter, Martha Faye Watson; brother, Walter Lester Shores; and sister, Thelma Speigner. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service at the chapel. Guests may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com. — Allen & Allen Funeral Home
