THOMASVILLE — David Shawn Lancaster, age 50, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died April 26, 2012, in Kingston, Tenn. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Chris Denson officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lancaster. Survivors include his son, David Edward Lancaster; his brothers, Pat, John, and Steve; and his mother, Mary Lancaster. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Albany, Georgia IBEW Local Union 1531. Pallbearers will be Mike Broughton, Reggie Nail, Ricky Bishop, Joseph Teel, Stan Hayes, and Steven Kane. Honorary pallbearers are IBEW Local Union 1531 of Albany, Ga. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the David Lancaster Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
